Dafnis Prieto Artist Ensemble (DPAE) at the Frost School of Music is committed to working as a collective band. This ensemble will interpret music from Dafnis Prieto, but it is also requested for every student musician in the band to bring original compositions to the rehearsal/performance. Since we keep a collective attitude at rehearsals we might feel the need to rearrange some of the compositions in order to fit with the sound and the music intent of the band. The DPAE has been a winner of the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival in 2016 under the College Combo Division and performed at venues such as:
